Temporary positions of Project Assistant-I are available in a Mission Mode Project on Sickle Anemia (HCP0008) in the lab of Dr G R Chandak at CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad.

Essential Qualification:
B.Sc. or equivalent (55%).

Desirable:
Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, short hand and typing. Previous experience of data entry and management.

Upper Age limit: 28 years as on application closing date.

Stipend: Rs.15,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable/ admissible.

General terms and conditions:

  1. CSIR (PPD) prevailing guidelines are applicable to these positions.
  2. Positions are purely temporary & on contract basis and is co-terminus with the project’s tenure.
  3. Eligible candidates are required to submit applications online.
  4. The age relaxation of 5 years for statutory groups and women.
  5. Selection of the candidates will be based on initial screening based on qualifications / experience & suitability of the candidates to the nature of research project. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in interview candidates will be empanelled and appointed. The pool of selected candidates will be valid for a maximum period of one year.
  6. Empanelment does not provide automatic guarantee of engagement.
  7. Candidates who have completed their degree with requisite educational qualifications only need to apply.
  8. The engagement under project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever, either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CCMB, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions or precedent.
  9. All the communication regarding the call for interview will be only through electronic mode (through: E-mail/mobile)
  10. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing for the written test/interview.
  11. The terms and conditions of engagement of project staff may be amended from time to time.
  12. The maximum duration for which project staff could be engaged in different projects taken together, will be 5 years.
  13. The performance of project staff would be reviewed periodically so that candidates not found up to the mark, could be terminated.

Benefits:

  1. Project staff will be provided OPD medical facilities through CSIR-CCMB dispensary, for self only.
  2. Project staff will be entitled for one day’s leave for each completed month’s service. However, in extra-ordinary circumstances Principal Investigator of the project and/or Director, CSIR-CCMB may provide relaxation in the rules considering the exigency.
