Spectroscopy The spectroscopy facility focuses on understanding the structure of the molecules, and the interaction of biomolecules with each other, ligands and with drug molecules. The key activity of the facility is to study protein structure and function in normal and diseased conditions, which help in understanding the basis of diseases. The facility also undertakes study of bio-membranes focus analysis of how drugs change the membrane fluidity and dynamics. This advanced facility is well equipped and consists of circular dichroism, time resolved fluorimeter, double monochromatic fluorimeter, dynamic light scattering (DLS), Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) and Sequenom.
