The key activities of PME include preparation of the five-year and annual research plans of CCMB, monitoring the progress of all research projects being carried out at the center, evaluation of outcomes of the projects, and technology transfers to public and industry in cases of socially relevant and commercially viable research projects respectively. This scell also takes care of Human resource management and promotion of science to academic institutions. It closely interacts with industries and academic institutions in matters related to collaborations, MoUs and other issues.
