The on-campus scholar’s hostel, Abhigyan, comprises 96 single rooms and 5 dorm room units. All PhD scholars are allotted single rooms, which have an attached bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. Rooms are well furnished with a cot, a table unit, and a cupboard. The dorm rooms accommodate 4 and are meant to house guests and visiting scholars. The hostel also has a common room with a flat screen TV and a satellite connection; the entire building is WiFi enabled. Every floor has a water cooler with an attached purifier. Abhigyan has round the clock security, a 24 hour supply of hot and cold water, as well as 4 automatic washing machines accessible to all residents.
